DESCRIPTION:Shelby Bicycle Days is an annual community festival held in July at Black Fork Commons in Shelby. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA family fun event for more than 25 years\, Shelby Bicycle Days incorporates the history of Shelby bikes into two days of exciting activities. From a parade to a community challenge to a jaw-dropping fireworks display\, there is something for everyone at this festival! \n\n\n\nFood trucks and non-food vendors will be there from 11 am to 10 pm on Friday and 11 am to 11 pm on Saturday.  \n\n\n\nTake a selfie or group photo with the light-up marquee letters at the end of the Main Midway! \n\n\n\nDon’t miss out on the Kids Passport Contest for a chance to win Target gift cards. An inflatable zone will be open on Friday\, and Saturday. The Kids’ Safety Spot is a touch-a-truck event on Friday\, where your kids can explore safety service vehicles.  \n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, the annual Lindy Flyer Biker Tour starts at 8:30 am at the corner of W. Main Street and Washington Street\, at the flag park. \n\n\n\nThe parade is scheduled for 2 pm along Main Street and Gamble Street. See the Whiz Bang Science Show following the parade at the Black Fork Common Amphitheater. Make sure to bid on your favorite pie at the auction\, also after the parade at Central Park Gazebo.  \n\n\n\nMusic in the Amphitheater is on Saturday at 7:30 pm. COSI Connects Curbside: Science LIVE! will be doing multiple shows.  \n\n\n\nThe Freedom 5K run on Saturday starts at Victory Park and follows the bike path through Sycamore Creek Park. Over 200\,000 visitors attend this free event each year. \n\n\n\nThe fun begins Friday\, the night before the festival\, at the Strawberry Jam. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 pm\, followed by the dyeing of the fountain. A concert will take place on Prouty Plaza. Activities for kids include a Children’s Big Wheel Race and a Children’s Berry Shuttle Run & Dash. \n\n\n\nThe Pie Eating Contest is on Saturday at 12:30 pm near the Community Stage on the lower levee\, arena side. There is also a Tennis Shootout at Troy Community Park. \n\n\n\nOn Sunday\, both the 5K and 10K Classic Runs as well as the 2-mile Strawberry Shortcake Run start on Riverside Drive at Troy Community Park. A Cruise-in will take place at Troy Community Park\, starting at 10 am. Registration begins at 8 am. There will be awards. Superkids is scheduled at Troy Memorial Stadium.  \n\n\n\nThere are three stages holding performances\, the Levee and Community Stage on the river levee and Prouty Plaza in downtown Troy. A beer truck will be on the levee near the Levee State. \n\n\n\nHandcrafted arts & crafts vendors and non-profit food vendors will be there\, too! Kids will enjoy the face painting and balloons! \n\n\n\nTroy Strawberry Festival is a rain-or-shine event unless there is severe weather. Service animals only\, please.  \n\n\n\nYou can park at the Miami County Fairgrounds and take the free shuttle to the festival. DESCRIPTION:The Van Wert Peony Festival is a family-friendly event that takes place on the first weekend of June each year. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn the first full weekend in June\, treat yourself to two days of fun at the Van Wert Peony Festival in Fountain Park!  \n\n\n\nThere will be live performances. Kids can enter a children’s fishing derby. A children’s tent will also be there\, full of fun things for the kids to do! \n\n\n\nCheck out the cars at the car show. Don’t miss the Grand Parade! DESCRIPTION:The Hookahville Music Festival is held at Roost on the River in Newark in early June\, with a full line-up of live music. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis music festival is a firm favorite among live music lovers! \n\n\n\nStarting at 12 noon on Thursday\, the festival opens at 10 am on Friday and Saturday. Camping is available.
