DESCRIPTION:Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights is at Alum Creek State Park Campgrounds from mid-November to early January. \n\n\n\nPhoto courtesy of Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights\n\n\n\nButch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights is a locally operated drive-thru light show in the Columbus area. \n\n\n\nThe drive-thru is three miles long and has over 300 displays\, multiple tunnels\, and light walls. It is about a 30-minute drive from start to finish. \n\n\n\nChildren can bring letters to Santa. Mrs Claus will deliver them to the North Pole! They are scanned and emailed back to the parents so they know what their children have asked for. \n\n\n\nThe busiest times are normally weekends in the lead-up to Christmas. \n\n\n\nThis drive-thru is open every day\, including Thanksgiving Day\, Christmas Eve\, Christmas Day\, New Year’s Eve\, and New Year’s Day. DESCRIPTION:This festival is based around a self-guided driving tour of the Ashtabula County covered bridges. Held in October. Fun and music at each bridge. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Ashtabula Covered Bridge Festival is a self-guided driving tour of Ashtabula’s 19 covered bridges. \n\n\n\nMost of the activities take place at Smolen-Gulf Bridge and Harpersfield Bridge\, including a parade\, crafts\, antique cars\, antique engines\, a quilt show\, entertainment\, food vendors\, and more. \n\n\n\nincluding the longest in the state\, Smolen-Gulf\, and the shortest that is open to traffic\, West Liberty. There are also over 100 barn quilts along this tour that are noted on the downloadable tour map. \n\n\n\nEach bridge along the tour will have live music\, refreshments\, and entertainment. \n\n\n\nThis festival has free parking and admission (NOTE: There is more parking available at some bridges than others). \n\n\n\nHere is a map of the bridges in the order of the self-guided drive. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDo you have an event that you want to feature (for free) on our VisitOhioToday events calendar? DESCRIPTION:The Yellow Springs Street Fair takes place in October in Yellow Springs and features craft vendors\, food trucks\, and entertainment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Yellow Springs Street Fair is a free event hosting over 250 vendors offering unique\, eclectic crafts and other merchandise.  \n\n\n\nThere will be 30 food trucks and mobile eateries on site. \n\n\n\nA popular feature of the street fair is the beer garden.  The beer garden is open for the Music and Beer Fest from 12 pm to 7 pm. SUMMARY:Columbus Italian Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Columbus Italian Festival is held on the grounds of St. John The Baptist Italian Catholic Church each year on Columbus Day weekend. It is a celebration of Italian culture. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Columbus Italian Festival celebrates all things Italian – especially food – with a prevue dinner dance at The Berwick on the Monday before the festival weekend. \n\n\n\nThe festival then kicks off on Friday. Visitors can see demonstrations of Italian cookery. There is a Bocce Ball tournament (application forms available online)\, and a Parade. \n\n\n\nRides and family-friendly activities will be available all weekend long. \n\n\n\nThere are two stages with Italian music artists performing for most of the opening hours of the festival. \n\n\n\nFestival Hours: \n\n\n\n\nFriday: 5 pm – 11 pm\n\n\n\nSaturday: Noon – 11 pm\n\n\n\nSunday: Noon – 7 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDo you have an event that you want to feature (for free) on our VisitOhioToday events calendar?
