DESCRIPTION:Oktoberfest Findlay is one of the largest single-day events in Hancock County. This celebration of local German heritage takes place in late September. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOktoberfest Findlay is a one-day celebration in Downtown Findlay\, with live traditional German music and entertainment\, contests\, authentic German food\, a Kid Zone\, and of course\, craft and German beers. \n\n\n\nContests include Steinholding\, Beer Tray Obstacle Course\, and Brat Eating. \n\n\n\nThere are around 20 food vendors offering food such as German sausages\, loaded chicken\, grilled food\, and kettle corn. The attending microbreweries will be offering their craft beers. \n\n\n\nThere is a small admission fee\, and it is cash only. DESCRIPTION:The Geneva Grape Jamboree takes place over two days in late September. This festival is a celebration of the grape harvest in the Geneva area. Visitors can taste grapes\, grape juice\, grape pies\, wine\, and various other products. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Geneva Grape Jamboree is full of events and activities for the whole family to enjoy. \n\n\n\nEvents include grape stomping competitions – one for adults and one for children\, a cornhole tournament\, the Jamboree Parade – in two parts\, part one on Saturday and part two on Sunday\, a baby contest for 2- to 4-year-olds\, and one for up to 23 months old – dress them up in their grapey-ist costume to compete! \n\n\n\nThere is live music in the evenings\, including tribute artists. \n\n\n\nThere are over 125 vendors at the Geneva Grape Jamboree. DESCRIPTION:The Water Lantern Festival in Columbus is a peaceful event celebrating life\, featuring the release of lanterns onto the water. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you are looking for a family-friendly event that is full of love\, happiness\, hope\, remembrance\, and unity and offers a peaceful\, memorable experience\, the Water Lantern Festival is a lovely choice. At this gathering\, thousands of lanterns are placed on the water to reflect their beautiful light.  \n\n\n\nCome and celebrate life together with your family and friends\, and even strangers. This event has been voted #1 by the USA Today People’s Choice for Best Cultural Festival. All ages are welcome\, and you can also design your own lantern!  \n\n\n\nThe lanterns are made from rice paper and wood\, making them as eco-friendly as possible. They will be cleaned up after the event\, and the LED candles will also be reused and recycled. \n\n\n\nYour ticket includes a wristband for entry\, a floating lantern kit\, an LED candle\, a commemorative drawstring bag\, conversation cards\, playing cards\, and a marker.
