DESCRIPTION:The Downtown Akron Sakura Festival will celebrate spring and cherry blossom trees in early April. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe annual Downtown Akron Sakura Festival is a free event that welcomes spring and celebrates the over 450 cherry blossom trees along the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail.  \n\n\n\nThe festival features art demonstrations\, sushi\, sake\, traditional Japanese music\, a bike ride\, a story walk\, origami\, Ikebana\, and kimono and bonsai vendors.  \n\n\n\nEvents span the Towpath Trail\, Mustill Store\, Ohio & Erie Canal Park\, Locks 1-3\, and the Towpath Trailhead at Spaghetti Warehouse. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDo you have an event that you want to feature (for free) on our VisitOhioToday events calendar?
