DESCRIPTION:The Vinton County Wild Turkey Festival is held on the first full weekend of May each year in downtown McArthur. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis festival is full of family fun\, with a parade\, dancing\, and much more. \n\n\n\nIndulge in a pancake breakfast if you are an early bird on Saturday at 8 am. \n\n\n\nVisitors can see baton twirling performances\, line dancers\, a baby contest\, and a quilt show. \n\n\n\nFood vendors and market booths will be present and fairground rides to entertain the kids! \n\n\n\nFestival hours: \n\n\n\n\nThursday: 11 am to 9 pm\n\n\n\nFriday: 11 am to 10 pm\n\n\n\nSaturday: 8 am to 10 pm\n\n\n\nSunday: 12 Noon to 5 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDo you have an event that you want to feature (for free) on our VisitOhioToday events calendar? SUMMARY:Central Ohio Folk Festival
DESCRIPTION:Central Ohio Folk Festival is an annual folk music festival that takes place in early May at the Highbanks Metro Park in Lewis Center. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPresented by the Columbus Folk Music Society\, the Central Ohio Folk Festival promotes roots\, folk\, and acoustic music and makes folk arts accessible to the public.  \n\n\n\nOver 30 music workshops will be offered\, as well as ongoing jam tents dedicated to Old-Time\, Folk\, Folk-Mix\, and Bluegrass. One tent is dedicated purely to song. There are also drum circles and community songs.  \n\n\n\nThere will be young adult offerings.
