DESCRIPTION:The Taste of History event is held in Amherst in mid-June. Enjoy this back-in-time experience focusing on military life through the ages. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Taste of History is a free event hosted by the Military History Preservation Group\, the Lorain County Visitors Bureau\, and the Amherst Historical Society. \n\n\n\nSample authentic military rations from different eras. SUMMARY:Festival of the Fish
DESCRIPTION:Festival of the Fish is an annual festival on the waterfront in Vermilion that takes place on Father’s Day weekend each year. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 2025 Festival of the Fish will be turning back the clock this year with the Fishing in the 80s – Mullet Mania theme \n\n\n\nGet ready for freshly grilled food at a waterfront setting\, live entertainment\, and fireworks over Lake Erie!  \n\n\n\nOn Saturday\, watch the Crazy Craft Regatta and the Lighted Boat Parade with prizes. The Crazy Craft Regatta registration is from 11 am to 12:30 pm. The race starts at 1 pm.  \n\n\n\nThe Father’s Day Parade is on Sunday in downtown Vermilion.
