DESCRIPTION:The Shaker Woods Festival is an annual event in Columbiana featuring craftspeople in period clothing. The annual festival takes place over three weekends in August. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCome to the Shaker Woods Festival on weekends in August to see over 200 of the best juried craftspeople from across the country! They will be dressed in the Shaker period clothing of the late 1800s and will perform demonstrations as well as sell their homemade items. \n\n\n\nSome of the items you can expect to find for sale at the festival include handmade soaps and sanitizers\, herbs and spices\, handmade baskets\, fresh produce\, florals\, hand-dipped candles\, shaker brooms\, custom-made knives\, hand-thrown pottery\, blown glass\, and custom jewelry. \n\n\n\nBring your appetite because there will be many food vendors\, too! \n\n\n\nRelax and enjoy yourself! Take a stroll through gorgeous gardens. Walk down rustic paths and through manicured woods\, and delight in the smells of cooking over an open fire.  \n\n\n\nVendor awards will be given for Best Costume\, Overall Booth\, Best Demonstration\, and Craftsman Excellence. SUMMARY:Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival
DESCRIPTION:Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival is a three-day summer event celebrating the German bratwurst. It is held in Bucyrus on the third weekend of August. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival is the only festival in Ohio that holds a parade every night.  \n\n\n\nThere will be eating contests\, beer gardens\, the crowning of the Bratwurst Royalty\, a stein auction\, and free entertainment. Rides and games will be there\, too!  \n\n\n\nA craft show will be open all three days. Adults and children in grades K through 12 are eligible to enter the art show.  \n\n\n\nThere will be other contests\, too! A Pigtail Contest\, a Pretty Baby Contest\, and the Royalty Pageants will also be fun to watch! \n\n\n\nThe parades will be at 7 pm on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday\, it kicks off at 4 pm. The parade route starts at the intersection of North Sandusky Avenue and runs south.  \n\n\n\nThe 5K Color Run/Walk starts at 9 am at Bucyrus High School on Saturday. SUMMARY:Wren Wiffleball Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Wren Wiffleball Tournament takes place annually at Wrenway Park in Van Wert County\, on the third weekend of August. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Wren Wiffleball Tournament is hosted by the Wrenway Park Wiffleball Warehouse and is a two day annual event that is great fun for the whole family to enjoy. \n\n\n\nWiffleball is a simplified version of baseball. The lightweight ball has to be hit within a triangle\, and depending on where it lands\, it is scored accordingly. A ball hit outside of the triangle is a ‘foul ball’. The batters do not run\, and the fielders do not chase the ball. \n\n\n\nThere is a reverse raffle that will be drawn throughout the tournament. Visitors can also enjoy a fireworks display\, live music\, food and beverage garden\, a cornhole tournament\, a pie baking contest\, egg toss\, a pie eating contest\, a parade\, and the awards ceremony and Hall of Fame Induction. \n\n\n\nThis event has no website\, so we are linking to their Facebook page below\, where you will find all the details.
