The Medina Fall Festival is a one-day event held in Medina’s Public Square in late September. All things fall-themed and much more for a fun day out!

The Medina Fall Festival has activities and entertainment for all ages to enjoy, and admission is free.

Find your way through the hay maze, get involved in line dancing, or take a horse ride. Watch the apple cider press demo and the puppy parade.

Be sure to get a snap at the fall-themed photo op. After the chili cook-off, take part in the tasting and voting.

There is a farmers market throughout the day and live entertainment in the Gazebo.

Fall Festival at The Farm is at The Farm at Walnut Creek. There are five weekend festivals and a Columbus Day Festival to be enjoyed at this location.

This is a great family fun day out with lots of activities to keep both kids and adults amused.

Take your chance at the pumpkin slingshot. Watch the Percheron Draft Horses press cane stalks to make molasses. Climb the straw castle. Take a horse-drawn wagon ride through the farm to feed the animals, including giraffes, bison, zebras, and more.

The kids can play all afternoon in the giant corn box.

Lunch is available for purchase. Barbecue chicken, noodles and beans, desserts, and more.

This festival is held on each weekend of October, and on the Monday of Columbus Day.

The Columbus Mac and Cheese Festival is held at At The Yard at Easton Town Center. An evening of fun and good food!

The Columbus Mac and Cheese Festival is a fun, family-friendly event featuring a selection of mac and cheese samples from some central Ohio restaurants.

Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, kid zone activities, giveaways, and more.

This event is a fundraiser hosted by the NextGen James Ambassadors Society and Easton Community Foundation and benefits the Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer program at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The Cuyahoga Falls Oktoberfest is held in downtown Cuyahoga Falls in  September. Celebrating German food, beer, and dance, this is a 3-day festival.

With three stages, live music and dance are big features of this festival. The Biergarten Stage is at the amphitheater near Broad Boulevard, the German Central Stage is near Portage Trail, and On The Mall is between the other two.

The Great Mohican Pow-Wow is held at the Mohican Reservation Campgrounds in Loudonville in September. All things Native American are celebrated here.

At this festival, visitors can see tomahawk throwing, Aztec fire dancers, fire-starting demonstrations, a storyteller, and more.

There is live music and dancing troops throughout the festival. Artisans display and sell their work, including antler works, basket weaving, feather working, knife making, pottery, silversmithing, wood & bone carving, and more.

• Saturday: 10 am – 7 pm
• Sunday: 10 am – 6 pm

The Mohican Bluegrass Festival is an outdoor music extravaganza. Venture into the Mohican Valley along the Mohican River to enjoy a full line-up of Bluegrass artists.

Picnic tables and benches are available at the Grand Log stage area, but visitors are advised to bring lawn chairs for comfort.

Food and craft vendors will keep the hungry shoppers happy.

Parking is free, but there is an admission charge, payable online or at the gate. A three-day ticket is available.

• Thursday: 3 pm – 10 pm
• Friday: 2 pm – 11 pm
• Saturday: Noon – 11 pm

Although all artists will perform twice in one day, no artist will perform on more than one day.

Oktoberfest Springboro is a two-day festival in early September. Celebrating all things German, this is a fun event for the whole family.

There is a small admission charge for the Oktoberfest Springboro (kids under 12 go free), payable on the gate.

Authentic recipe dishes include Bratwurst, Cabbage Rolls, German Potato Salad, Cheddar Mettwurst, Sauerkraut, and much more.

Events and entertainment include singing and dancing, Wiener dog race, hot dog eating contest, stein holding, and more.

Festival Hours:

• Friday: 6 pm – midnight
• Saturday: 11 am – midnight

This festival is hosted by and held at the Springboro United Church of Christ. All proceeds go to a selection of local and national charities.

The Rubber City Jazz & Blues Festival is in early September. Musicians and bands play at 10 venues in Akron for this festival across three evenings.

The Rubber City Jazz & Blues Festival brings these music genres to the community. Although the festival has featured world-renowned artists, a major focus is to platform the talent from the Akron-metro area.

These performances are free, usually with the exception of the headliner’s performance. Tickets for that are available online.

The Ohio Hill Country Festival is held in Wellston, Jackson County, southeast Ohio, on the first Wednesday through Saturday following Labor Day.

The festival starts at 5 pm on Wednesday when the rides and art show open.

Throughout the festival, there is an art show, the Little Miss Queen Contest, the Junior Miss Queen Contest, a quilt, needlework, and craft show, karaoke sessions, a car and motorcycle show, a baby contest, and more.

The Grand Finale Parade takes place at 6.30 pm on Saturday.

Live music and entertainment, and fairground rides are provided throughout the opening hours.

The Clyde Fair is an annual 3-day event in Sandusky County, northwest Ohio. Days of family fun with everything you would expect from a community fair.

Clyde hosts this fair annually, celebrating community spirit and entertainment.

There are a variety of attractions and activities to appeal to all age groups.

Traditional fair rides and games will keep the kids entertained – and the adults too, of course!

Food vendors offer a range of classic fair food, including cotton candy and funnel cakes, as well as more substantial hot dogs and barbecue food.

A go-kart race, children’s tractor pull, car show, and parade will be accompanied by live entertainment throughout the opening hours of the fair.
