SUMMARY:Columbus Asian Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Columbus Asian Festival is a free annual cultural event that takes place on Memorial Day weekend at Franklin Park in Columbus. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Columbus Asian Festival will return for its annual celebration of cultural diversity at the end of May. More than 100\,000 visitors attend this event each year. \n\n\n\nExperience cultural entertainment in the form of a dragon dance\, folk dancing\, drum team\, and Asian musical performers! Get up and dance with Zumba and other audience-engaging activities! \n\n\n\nSee Tai Chi demonstrations and other martial arts\, too. \n\n\n\nThere will be cultural exhibits and a marketplace\, as well as lots of food. A special children’s area and games will also be available. \n\n\n\nAnother exciting activity is the Dragon Boat Race\, which takes place a few days earlier at 233 S. Civic Center Drive in Columbus.
