DESCRIPTION:Ohio Valley Frontier Days at Fort Steuben is a festival of reenactments\, demonstrations and more. Held on the first full weekend in June. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe reconstructed 18th Century Fort Steuben opens its gates for two days of reenactments\, demonstrations\, music\, storytelling\, arts\, and crafts. \n\n\n\nSee the soldiers setting up camp and loading and shooting their muskets\, as well as the daily life of the enlisted men who lived at the Fort in 1787. \n\n\n\nVisitors can join in with crafts and other activities. Buildings are open for tours and soldiers teach military drill to young volunteers. \n\n\n\nMeet the blacksmith\, the candlemaker\, the flintknapper\, and other early American skilled tradesmen. \n\n\n\nLive music adds to the weekend. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDo you have an event that you want to feature (for free) on our VisitOhioToday events calendar?
