SUMMARY:Spring Valley Potato Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Spring Valley Potato Festival is in early October\, celebrating the mighty potato! A fun-filled two-day fundraising event. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis festival is hosted by ACTS (Association of Community and Township Services). This is their biggest event of the year. \n\n\n\nVisitors can expect to see a pet parade\, a library book sale\, marching bands\, live music\, and more. \n\n\n\nThere is a 5K Tater-Trot that takes place early on Saturday (registration starts at 7 am\, run starts at 8 am). \n\n\n\nKids can enjoy the kiddie tractor pull and indulge in Potato Candy. \n\n\n\nSpend some time in the beer garden\, stroll around the craft and food vendors\, and visit the George Barrett Cement House Museum. \n\n\n\nFestival Hours: \n\n\n\n\nSaturday: 7 am (5K run only\, vendors open at 9 am) – 8 pm\n\n\n\nSunday: 9 am – 5 pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDo you have an event that you want to feature (for free) on our VisitOhioToday events calendar?
