DESCRIPTION:The Taste of History event is held in Amherst in mid-June. Enjoy this back-in-time experience focusing on military life through the ages. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Taste of History is a free event hosted by the Military History Preservation Group\, the Lorain County Visitors Bureau\, and the Amherst Historical Society. \n\n\n\nSample authentic military rations from different eras.
