Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival

Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival is a three-day summer event celebrating the German bratwurst. It is held in Bucyrus from Thursday, August 15 through Saturday, August 17, 2024.
In its 57th year, Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival is back with a new theme: “Brattie Supports our First Responders.” With over 100,000 visitors, it is the only festival in Ohio that holds a parade every night.
There will be eating contests, beer gardens, the crowning of the Bratwurst Royalty, a stein auction, and free entertainment. Rides and games will be there, too!
A craft show will be open all three days. Adults and children grades K through 12 are eligible to enter the art show.
There will be other contests, too! A Pigtail Contest is scheduled to take place on Schines Art Park Stage on Saturday. Kids aged 3 to 11 can compete. A Pretty Baby Contest and the Royalty Pagents will also be fun to watch!
The parades will be at 7pm on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, it kicks off at 4 pm. The parade route starts at the intersection of North Sandusky Avenue and runs south.
The 5K Color Run/Walk starts at 9 am at Bucyrus High School on Saturday. All registered participants will receive a finisher medal.
