Appalachian Festival
May 10 @ 10:00 am – May 11 @ 6:00 pm
The annual Appalachian Festival takes place in the business district of New Richmond, alongside the Ohio River in Clermont County on Mother’s Day weekend.

The Appalachian Festival takes over the business district of New Richmond, creating a ‘Living History’ mountain village, featuring period re-enactors demonstrating mountain life in the 1800s through dress, living quarters, and activities.
Demonstrations include beadwork, Native American hand drumming, basket-making, broom-making, and mountain distilling.
Festival hours are Saturday: 10 am to 10 pm, Sunday: 10 am to 6 pm.
Unique hand-made craft vendors and food vendors will be in attendance.
The stages will have performances throughout the weekend, including bluegrass, strings, country, and Appalachian Grass music.
Storytelling will be along the scenic Ohio River at various times throughout the festival.
