Coshocton Sunflower Festival
August 9 @ 12:00 pm – August 11 @ 5:00 pm
Coshocton Sunflower Festival is an annual summer event at the Coshocton KOA Holiday Campground in Coshocton from August 9 through August 11, 2024.
Experience the joy of living sunshine with your family and friends at the 7th annual Coshocton Sunflower Festival! With 50 varieties of sunflowers covering four acres, you are bound to have a great time picking flowers, taking pictures, and so much more at this rain-or-shine event!
Experience the sunflower field with a wine-tasting and beer-tasting! The festival starts on August 3 with Sippin’ on Sunshine from 12 pm to 6 pm. It is family-friendly, too! There will be a sandbox for the little ones to play in. Live music will be there as well. Broken Child Band plays from 12 pm to 3 pm. Matt & Ernie take the stage from 3:30 pm to 6 pm.
Pick one sunflower or a whole bucket! Quiet Days are the early U-pick days, running from August 4 through August 6, from 10 am to 7 pm. A refreshment and merchandise stand will be available.
Wagon rides will take you to the field on the main festival weekend, August 9 – 11. There will be craft vendors, live music, and food trucks. Some food vendors include Coshocton KOA Ice Cream & Lemonade Truck, Grandmom Minnie’s Munchies, Real McCoy BBQ, and Denver’s Kettle Corn. Rocky Fork String Bank plays on August 9 from 4 pm to 7 pm. On August 10, 4 on the Floor performs from 11 am to 2 pm.
Late U-pick days are August 15 and August 16. The final festival day is August 17, complete with Zinnia Picking!
Unique photo spots are located throughout the sunflower field. Keep in mind that bees are in the field, so if you are allergic, come prepared with first aid supplies.
A woodland shade area is next to the sunflower field, where you can cool off and relax after your adventure!
Don’t forget a picnic blanket, sun protection, and your own clippers, although they do have clippers for you to use if needed.
Friendly, leashed animals are allowed.
Handicapped parking is available, or golf cart rides to the field will be available for those unable to board the wagon or walk to the field. A handicap-accessible, portable toilet is also available at the festival area.
