Geauga County Maple Festival

The Geauga County Maple Festival, a family-friendly event honoring maple syrup, occurs on the last full weekend of April each year, at Chardon Square in Chardon.

Start your day at the Geauga County Maple Festival with Pancakes in the Park, featuring the Pancake Eating Contest for those 18 and older. Enjoy rides, concessions, and an arts and crafts show on Chardon Square.
Participate in the Sap Run (1 mile or 5 miles) or cheer for the Bathtub Races. Kids aged 5 to 11 can try the Kiddie Tractor Pull.
Experience Invitational Lumberjack Competitions, live music, and entertainment. Join baking contests at the Maple Festival, indulge in maple treats, and purchase award-winning syrup at the Maple Syrup Blue Ribbon Auction.
Don’t miss the Grand Parade over two days, featuring prizes for the best floats, marching groups, cars, and horses. Free shuttle bus service is available throughout the festival.
