Lorain Winterfest Event

The Lorain Winterfest is a one-day festival held on November 25th, 2023. Many activities and events are crammed into the evening, and some carry on throughout December.
The parade kicks off the Lorain Winterfest, at the end of which Santa arrives, there will be lots of live entertainment and the official Christmas tree lighting.
Santa will be at Black River Landing each Saturday and Sunday before Christmas.
The International Trees and Trains exhibit opens on the day of the Winterfest, and continues each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through December at the Black River Transportation Center, where Lorain’s Caboose C-3855 is lit with hundreds of lights.
Lorain County Community College at City Center will have activities for children throughout December. The shops and restaurants will also have extended opening hours during December.
