The Port Clinton Lighthouse and Maritime Festival celebrates Port Clinton’s maritime heritage. The one-day festival is on the third Saturday in August – 17th in 2024.

The Port Clinton Lighthouse and Maritime Festival is at Waterworks Park, Port Clinton.

Port Clinton has a rich maritime history, having a connection with Lake Erie since 1828. It was a shipbuilding port and a commercial fishing center. The current lighthouse is Port Clinton’s second, it was built in 1896 and has recently been restored.

The festival features free lighthouse tours, antique and classic wooden boat show, historic talks, an art show, the United Way Incredible Duck Race, and much more.

There will be merchandise and food vendors, musical entertainment, and plenty of activities for kids.
