Milan Melon Festival Event

The Milan Melon Festival, an annual event held on Labor Day weekend in September, has been a tradition since 1958. This three-day celebration honors the abundant and flavorful muskmelons that are at their ripest at this time.

Melon-themed food vendors offer dishes like melon smoothies, melon salads, and a unique melon pizza. Only during the Milan Melon Festival can you enjoy Watermelon, Sherbert & Cantaloupe Ice Cream!
Enjoy live music performances, arts and crafts exhibitions, carnival rides, and various games. The crowning of the Milan Melon Festival Queen takes place on Saturday evening, and the grand parade is on Sunday.
The 5K road race and 1-mile fun run are held on Monday. You need to register to participate.
