The Water Lantern Festival Cleveland is a heartfelt event where lanterns are released onto the water to celebrate life. It occurs on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Coe Lake Park in Cleveland.
If you are looking for a family-friendly event full of love, happiness, hope, remembrance, and unity, the Water Lantern Festival Cleveland is a lovely choice. You will be offered a peaceful, memorable experience at this gathering as thousands of lanterns are placed on the water to reflect their beautiful light.
Come and celebrate life, whether it is a milestone, a life accomplishment, or some of life’s simple pleasures. This event has been voted #1 by the USA Today People’s Choice for Best Cultural Festival. All ages are welcome.
You can design your own lantern! The lanterns are made from rice paper and wood, making them as eco-friendly as possible. They will be cleaned up after the event, and the LED candles will be reused and recycled.
Your ticket includes a wristband for entry, a floating lantern kit, an LED candle, a commemorative drawstring bag, conversation cards, playing cards, and a marker. It also pays for lantern retrieval and water cleanup afterward.
If it’s date night, make a meaningful connection with your partner or love interest. A date night package includes a mandala throw to share!
Food trucks and music will also be there to add to the celebration.
The Water Lantern Festival will occur in Akron, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, and Toledo, too.
Only pet service animals are allowed at this event.
