Spring Valley Potato Festival

The Spring Valley Potato Festival is in early October, celebrating the mighty potato! A fun-filled two-day fundraising event.
This festival is hosted by ACTS (Association of Community and Township Services). This is their biggest event of the year.
Visitors can expect to see a pet parade, a library book sale, marching bands, live music, and more.
There is a 5K Tater-Trot that takes place early on Saturday (registration starts at 7 am, run starts at 8 am).
Kids can enjoy the kiddie tractor pull and indulge in Potato Candy.
Spend some time in the beer garden, stroll around the craft and food vendors, and visit the George Barrett Cement House Museum.
Festival Hours:
- Saturday: 7 am (5K run only, vendors open at 9 am) – 8 pm
- Sunday: 9 am – 5 pm
