Vinton County Wild Turkey Festival

The Vinton County Wild Turkey Festival is held on the first full weekend of May each year in downtown McArthur.
This festival is full of family fun, with a parade, dancing, and much more.
Indulge in a pancake breakfast if you are an early bird on Saturday at 8 am.
Visitors can see baton twirling performances, line dancers, a baby contest, and a quilt show.
Food vendors and market booths will be present and fairground rides to entertain the kids!
Festival hours:
- Thursday: 11 am to 9 pm
- Friday: 11 am to 10 pm
- Saturday: 8 am to 10 pm
- Sunday: 12 Noon to 5 pm
