I recently stayed at Frankie’s Waterfront House on Indian Lake. You cannot get more “waterfront” than this home! Pictured above is the back of the house that is on the water. The home features a HUGE screened-in porch and a poured concrete patio that is perfect for lake viewing.

The patio ends where the water begins. This is truly lakefront! On the patio, you can enjoy a bonfire while relaxing in the Adirondack chairs. We visited in January, so while we did explore the outside, the 20-degree F weather wasn’t quite right for sitting outdoors.

Living Space at Frankie’s Waterfront House – Indian Lake

The first floor has an open-concept living room, dining area, and kitchen. The space is clean and decorated with a modern minimalist feel, yet very cozy. It has a gas fireplace and a large-sized TV. The couch and sitting chair were comfortable and easy to relax in.

The kitchen area was open and large. It featured a butler’s area or offshoot from the kitchen area. There was ample space to store food and prepare meals. The appliances were very nice and in working condition. This was not one of the most well-stocked kitchens we have stayed at. There was not a skillet to cook in, and there were only six plates, but the house sleeps 8.

The dining area was set in front of a large window that faced that lake; this made lake viewing very easy.

Downstairs bedrooms at Frankie’s Waterfront House – Indian Lake

There are two bedrooms downstairs at this home. Both are extremely small but fine for sleeping. The one pictured above is a bed bunk that features double beds. The bed frame is only open on one side; the other sides touch the walls.

The second bedroom features a double bed. It has a sliding barn-style door. Caution advised as I did get stuck the first night. The door does not fully cover the door frame, and while trying to slide it in place, I unknowingly slid it out of the track, and the track on the floor slid sideways, which did not allow for the door to slide backward. In the morning, I couldn’t get out. The other people in my party had to turn the track on the floor and slide the door back into place.

Upstairs at Frankie’s Waterfront House – Indian Lake

The bedroom upstairs is the winner! This is a HUGE area. There is a laundry room, a large walk-in closet, and an even larger bathroom and the room features a huge king-sized bed and two chairs that have the most beautiful view of the water!

We spent a lot of time in the chairs watching the water! It was beautiful in January, so I can’t even imagine what it would be like in the summer!

The upstairs also had a small loft with one additional single bed.

Overall, the location of Frankie’s Waterfront House on Indian Lake was perfect. It doesn’t get much better than this. The house was RIGHT on the water; it had a HUGE screened-in porch that overlooks the water and lots of windows in the house to see the water.

The furnishings were comfortable, while the bedrooms downstairs were small, you don’t need much for sleeping, right?
