Cindy’s Insider Ohio Tips
Blendon Woods is a haven of wonderfully amazing nature right in Columbus! There is plenty to do for adults and kids at this park. Be sure to look for the wild turkeys! I loved seeing those! We were grateful for the benches along the hike. It was great to sit, take a drink, and just watch nature for a while. However, there is only one trail that pets are allowed on, and it is usually muddy during wet weather.

I did the Sugarbush trail, solo today. It was a little chilly but the leaves are starting to turn! Perfect leaf peeping! I went comfortable on this trail though I was hiking alone.
Hi Isabel! Thanks for coming back and leaving a comment and letting us know the leaves are turning! I have hiked that one myself also and I also did it solo! I also felt safe too! It is great to make those notes for others so they know!
What a gorgeous escape into nature. I’ll be sure to take my camera and a long lens to capture some photos of those cool wild turkeys!
