    About Log Cabin Days

Log Cabin Days is a festival hosted by Hochstetler Log Homes, with activities, demonstrations, and events.

On Friday morning you can arrive early and indulge in the Early Bird Breakfast, served between 7 and 10am with pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausages.

Activities for the kids to enjoy include pony and covered wagon rides, treasure hunts in the wood shavings, a petting zoo, and a coloring contest.

You can watch demonstrations of the mill and dry kilns in operation, steam-engine sawmilling, lumberjack activities, wool-spinning, and more.

If you are interested in purchasing a log home or would just like to see some log homes that people live in, a self-guided log home tour is available, although you are expected to make a donation, all proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

There will also be a cabin and rustic furnishings auction that will be offering three prebuilt cabins, three pavilions, rustic furniture, and more.

You can experience delicious Amish-cooked food such as barbecued chicken, soft pretzels, open-kettle baked beans, and fry-pies. Sweet treats and drinks include fresh-pressed apple cider, apple butter and popcorn, cakes and pastries, and homemade ice cream.

There is an admission fee to this event. Children under 12 go free.

Please visit the website and/or social media for up-to-date schedules and operating hours for this event.
