The Steubenville Nutcracker Village displays the largest collection of life-size nutcrackers in the world. Located in downtown Steubenville, the event is free and open 24 hours a day, from Tuesday, November 21, 2023, to Saturday, January 6, 2024.

About Steubenville Nutcracker Village
Walk the streets of historic downtown Steubenville to see the 200 life-size nutcrackers on display.
Christmas at the Fort Holiday Market, located at Fort Steuben Park, will kick off with ‘Steubenville Lights Up the Night‘ on November 21. The holiday market will run from November 24- December 23.
Sip hot mulled wine or cider and enjoy some Eastern European Christmas charm at the German Gluhwein Garden.
On December 3, the Steubenville Christmas Parade will be followed by joyous festivities at Historic Beatty Park. There will be a live nativity scene, holiday hikes, storywalks, caroling, and choirs singing Christmas songs.
Get a photo with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and an elf helper. Take a Polar Express hayride and do kids’ crafts or grab something to eat at the various food trucks. Enjoy free cookies, storytelling, and warm drinks by the fire.
There is a St. Nicholas Lantern Parade on December 3. Make a lantern, bring a bell, and join the parade. Everyone is welcome.
Go to Leonardo’s Coffeehouse on December 18th to visit Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy. Enjoy the hot chocolate bar and a story.
Hop aboard the free Polar Express Hayride! The Children’s Corner on Market Street offers free face painting, a photo with Santa, a Christmas storywalk, and holiday games and crafts.
And don’t forget to mail your letter to Santa!
Fun Fact: Each of the nutcrackers was carved by local artist Brodie Stutzman and painted by a variety of local artists. Please enjoy looking at the nutcrackers, but don’t touch!
