Drive or walk along Seabury Avenue to visit the Fairview Park Holiday Lights displayed by residents for a glorious holiday light show.
Bill and Diane McVicker head this tradition, having taken over from Bill’s grandfather who started in Buffalo, New York, and moved to Fairview Park in 1953.
Seabury Avenue has been brought to life with lights every Christmas since 2010. There are now over 1,200 houses with Sidewalk Garland Lights in Seabury Avenue and around town.
The lights are turned on in late November, and continue through to New Year’s Day, although not all houses keep the lights up so long. On the weekends the Elf Tent offers hot cocoa and candy canes.
The musical glowing arches along the sidewalk change color, making it a magical walk.
Don’t forget to grab your Magic Reindeer Food:
Sprinkle on your lawn at night, the moon will make it sparkle bright. As Santa’s reindeer fly and roam, this will guide them to your home!
