About the Obetz Zucchini Fest
The first Obetz Zucchini Fest took place in 1974, and was a resounding success, attracting a large crowd and generating a tremendous amount of excitement within the community. From that point on, the festival became an annual affair, growing in popularity year after year.
The festival is at Fortress Obetz, and admission to the festival and concerts is free.
The schedule includes a car show, a parade, a pageant Center of Science and Industry Science Shows, wrestling, and a magic show. But this festival is mainly about music and the concert gates open at 6pm each evening of the festival.
This year’s musicians include The Spin Doctors (alternative rock); Vanilla Ice with Tone Loc (rappers) and All-4-One (R&B); Matt Schuster (country) opening for Brantley Gilbert (country rock).
There are six parking areas, one of which is ADA-accessible.
Food stalls will be available around the location.
Be sure to check out the website and Facebook page for updated scheduling information!
