The Marion Popcorn Festival is the largest popcorn festival in the world, attracting more than 250,000 visitors. Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 7th, 8th, and 9th September 2023.
About the Marion Popcorn Festival
There is always lots of music from live bands at this festival, all of which are admission-free.
The Popcorn Parade takes place on Thursday evening, starting at 6pm. There will be a vast array of floats that follow a route around downtown Marion.
There is a 5K run (visit RacePenguin for registration), golf outings, fine arts show event, a corn hole tournament, and much more.
The Poppin’ Party Stage and Beer and Wine Garden features live entertainment each night and is in the parking lot between Charleston Place and RHAM on West Center Street.
There are also lots of activities and events for the kids, such as fairground rides. Multiple tickets as well as all-day wristbands are available.
