Portsmouth River Days takes place over Labor Day weekend – August 30 through September 1, 2024. Three days of family fun and live music on the riverfront in Portsmouth and the surrounding area.
About Portsmouth River Days
Enjoy arts and crafts, rides, great food, and free nightly concerts beginning at 7pm on the riverfront stage.
The Grand Parade is on Saturday at 11 am, with the Queens Pageant following at the Vern Riffe Center at Shawnee State University, beginning at 6 pm.
The VIP tent has children’s activities available at noon on Sunday.
There is the annual ‘Friends of Portsmouth Ducky Derby’ that offers the chance to win money. The race takes place on Sunday at 5:30 pm. You can buy your ducks online – you don’t have to be present to win!
The festival rounds off with a spectacular fireworks show at 10 pm Sunday night.
The Antique & Collector Car show is scheduled for Monday from 9 am to 4 pm.
