Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights is a locally owned and family-operated holiday drive-thru light show that takes place at the Alum Creek State Park Campgrounds from Friday, November 17, 2023, to Monday, January 1, 2024.
About Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights
Open rain, snow, or wind, Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights has over 300 displays, multiple tunnels, and light walls in this three-mile-long light show that will delight your entire family! It is about a 30-minute drive from start to finish.
Butch Bando’s Fantasy of Lights is Columbus’s only locally owned and operated light show. They also give back to the community through several local charities, including A Kid Again and Recreation Unlimited.
The light show is not synchronized to music but is instead “Columbus’ OG silhouette display light show!” Tune your radio to 88.3 FM for Fantasy of Lights radio, brought to you by Delaware Area Career Center students.
Don’t forget to bring your letter for Santa! Mrs. Claus will deliver them to the North Pole for you. Santa’s elves will scan them and send them back to you, so you know what your little ones hope for this holiday season. There is a printable template on their website.
Mrs. Claus will also be collecting coats, hats, and unwrapped toys for charity from November 24 through December 23.
Discounts are available for weeknights, and they are typically not as busy during those evenings.

Cindy’s Insider Ohio Tips!
This was great fun, my entire extended family loved our trip to see the light show. I suggest going on a weeknight and earlier in the evening to avoid crowds. If it get too busy and the road starts to back up, the entrance will be shut off and you have to come back at a later time to enter the display.
