Inniswood Metro Gardens is a beautifully groomed and curated garden area located in Westerville, Ohio. Inniswood Metro Gardens is part of the Columbus Metro Parks.
Visit Inniswood Metro Gardens
Inniswood Metro Gardens covers 123 acres and is a unique metro park. It has beautifully landscaped gardens and lawns.
At the Gardens there are over 2000 species of plants as well as special collections and themed gardens. It is part of the Columbus Metro Park system but also relies on gifts from private citizens and philanthropic organizations.
Inniswood is known for its beautiful gardens and is often the backdrop for photographers. The area is always clean, well maintained, and has several areas perfect for reading a book or meditating!
Trails
There are 6 very short “trails”. They all wind and wander through this beautiful location.
Boardwalk is a 0.5-mile boardwalk and gravel, easy hike that wins through a Beech and Maple forest. This path is ADA-accessible.
Chipmunk Chatter is a -.6 miles, easy paved path. It is ADA-accessible and pet-friendly. The paved path is at the end of the parking lot and on the exterior of the gardens.
Sister’s Garden Loop is a 0.3-mile, easy paved path. It is ADA-accessible. It goes through the woods and then loops back to the Sister’s Garden.
Brookwood is a 0.5-mile paved, ADA-accessible path. It crosses Spring Run and also passes the Memorial and Sister’s Gardens.
Frog Talk Walk is a 0.1-mile easy boardwalk path. This path is also ADA-accessible. It is adjacent to a pond and passes through garden spaces.
Spring Run is a 0.3-mile gravel hiking path. It is a short but beautiful path that moves through an Oak and Hickory forest.

Inniswood Metro Parks is a great place to spend a couple of hours. There is always something new to see, and the gardens are so well maintained all year round. I love that there are benches almost wherever you want to stop and rest, or just take in the beautiful surroundings and listen to nature!
