Hocking Hills Candle Works is a candle shop in Hocking Hills where you can also create your own scented candles. It is owned by local residents Judy and Mike Hard.

They have over 170 scents! Their 7 oz. candles are natural soy and hand-poured.
Candle Works featured collections include: The Great Outdoors; Garden and Herbs; Spices and Nuts; For the Guys, or Maybe Not, scents; What Are You Drinking?; Christmas and fall scents; and much more.
After purchasing The Candle Shop in 2007, Judy and Mike Hard’s successful search for a great soy candle expanded the shop into what is now Candle Works. Mike loves to experiment with new fragrances!
At this candle shop, you can create your own special fragrance. Scent artists are ready to help you make your own amazing scent, so schedule a candlemaking workshop or plan your next birthday party, bachelorette party, girl’s day out, Valentine’s Day, fundraising event, or family outing with Candle Works, and make some great memories!
Hocking Hills Candle Works is located right next to Christmas Treasures and the Wind Chime Shop. All owned by the same couple, they are all worth a visit while you’re there!

I liked that this candle shop did not smell overwhelmingly like candles. The scents were separated by theme and clearly labeled on the wall signs. You can even make your own candle. You can call ahead for reservations, or you can drop in as well.
