Northstar Cafe is a family-owned and operated restaurant that was established in 2004 and currently has several locations.
This eco-conscious business makes careful decisions with the planet in mind-from the locations they choose for their restaurants to how they construct their buildings. They are committed to giving more than they take.
Not only that, they use organic, locally grown, artisan-produced foods to bring you the best tasting and most wholesome food possible.
Northstar Cafe has a wide selection of menu choices, serving breakfast/brunch, lunch, and dinner. Try a Northstar Veggie Burger or a Margherita Brick Oven Pizza for lunch, with a mint iced coffee or a glass of Clay Shannon Sauvignon Blanc.
Many menu items can be prepared dairy-free and meat-free, as well as gluten-free. For those with food allergies, Northstar Cafe will take precautions to minimize cross-contact in the kitchen at your request, but they are not an allergen-free facility. There is also a kids’ menu with a variety of choices.

The Easton location has live jazz music nightly at 6 pm. The Shaker Heights location also has live jazz on Fridays and Saturdays at 6 pm. No cover charge.

I usually eat at the Clintonville or Easton locations, those have become my favorites! My go-tos are the Buddha Bowl with tofu and the homemade ginger ale. I think the food is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting!
