Old Man’s Cave
Old Man’s Cave is one of the 7 major hiking trail parks in Hocking Hills and arguably the most popular one! The most popular trail at Old Man’s Cave is a 1-way trail loop that is approximately 1.5 miles long.
There are other trails on site as well that are equally as beautiful! Be sure to visit the Naturalist Cabin and the Visitor Center to learn about this park. There is a trail here that takes you to Ash Cave. This is a one-way 6 mile hike.

Ash Cave
Ash Cave is located in the southernmost part of Hocking Hills. The path back to the massive horseshoe cave is paved. When walking this path, we have seen wheelchairs and motorized carts navigating the paved path well. Beautiful hemlocks and beech trees surround the area and provide an amazing backdrop in this area.

Cedar Falls
Cedar Falls is about a 0.5 mile long hike that is considered moderate and strenuous with steps. It is a one-way trail with a waterfall, unique rock formations and bridges. The trail is clearly marked with signs. It takes about 40 minutes for this trail to be hiked. Leashed pets are welcome on this trail, but there is no wading or swimming allowed in the waterfall or creek areas.
